Jim Chapman Jr., an Atlanta native, is a thirteen year homebuilding veteran who started his own custom building firm in 1998 after earning an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 1996. In 2005 Chapman began developing gated active adult (55 Plus) communities featuring one level all masonry ranch condominiums. He is the President of Jim Chapman Communities and serves as the CFO of his newest homebuilding venture, Stonecrest Homes. Chapman is currently serving his second term on the Board of the Atlanta 50 Plus Housing Council of the GAHBA where he holds the position of Chairman.

Debbie is the Managing Broker of Purdy Real Estate. She began her real estate career in 1983. After working for several years for three large firms she co-founded Purdy Real Estate in 2004. Debbie holds CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), ASP (Accredited Staging Professional) designations and the recipient of the coveted Gold Phoenix award for 20 years of multi-million dollar real estate sales. Debbie is currently serving her second term on the Executive Board of the 50 Plus Housing Council where she holds the position of Vice Chairman.

Bonnie is a Reverse Mortgage Specialist with First Century Bank, utilizing the Reverse
Mortgage for refinance as well as for purchase. She especially enjoys working with buyers in
active adult communities. Previously, she served as director of the EasyLiving Home program
in Georgia where she educated and assisted builders in the benefits of incorporating basic
accessible features in new home construction. She is CAPS certified and teaches a Reverse
Mortgage continuing education class for builders and Realtors. Prior to moving to Georgia, she
enjoyed being a builder in California. She is serving her second year on the Board of the 50+
Housing Council, currently as secretary treasurer.

Betsy Sheppard, Founder and President of Gilbert & Sheppard Group, is a 30 year veteran in the marketing and advertising industry. Betsy graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Arts/Public Relations. Beginning her career with The Hilton Head Company in South Carolina, Betsy served as the company’s Real Estate Marketing Manager. After moving to Atlanta in the mid 80’s, Betsy worked with Quigley & Company Advertising, Mabry & Sheppard Advertising and Fairgreen Capital/Northside Realty where she served as Vice President of Corporate Communications.
Gilbert & Sheppard is a national award winning full service marketing and advertising consulting firm based in North Georgia. The company specializes in the Housing industry with a particular emphasis in the active adult and senior market. Betsy currently serves at a Board Member on the Atlanta 50+ Housing Council and the Thanks Mom & Dad Board of Trustees. She also serves on a task force for Lifelong Communities and the new ALL Certified Home Program.

Anresa Davis has served as a Senior Residency Counselor at Park Springs for 11 years.
Anresa graduated from Georgia College and received her BSN from the Medical College
of Georgia. After a 25 year career as an ICU and ER nurse and having helped her
parent’s transition from home ownership to retirement community living, Anresa joined
Andy Isakson and Kevin Isakson in 2000 during the development and pre sales of Park
Springs.
Park Springs is an award winning Continuing Care Retirement Community featuring
independent living with a full continuum of health care including assisted living, memory
care, nursing home care, and a Medicare certified clinic. Located on 54 lush acres

Ken Baker, CASP, LEED AP serves as Vice President and Senior Living Specialty Leader for Rees Associates, Inc. and brings a unique perspective to the Atlanta design firm. His career blends a record of public service with a successful business background. He focuses on researching trends in senior housing and providing information that helps clients accomplish their goals. Ken’s responsibilities include strengthening the ties between REES and current clients and building relationships with potential clients. Mims Mobley has been educating Professionals of the Building Industry on the benefits of incorporating daylight into the design and construction of residential and commercial building for over 15 years. Kelly has been active in new home sales and marketing for 31 years. He has held the positions of sales and marketing director, vice president of sales, and regional manager for several national home builders including Pulte, Ryland and Choice Homes. As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Jim Chapman Communities he is responsible for developing Jim Chapman Communities into one of the leading brands in the Atlanta market for Active Adult 55+ Living. Giannoni is Owner and CEO of Evolv, a full service real estate solutions group, since April 2008. She has been involved in the real estate industry for over 22 years which includes executive-level positions at some of the nation’s leading real estate firms.
Giannoni crafted Evolv into a successful firm specializing in active adult, condominium, townhome, apartment, mixed-use and single family services. Evolv offers its clients marketing, brokerage and training/start-up services specializing solely in the new product or conversion marketplace.
Giannoni earned her MS in Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, is certified in the Management Program from Crummer Business School at Rollins College and has her BA degree from Rollins College.
